Qld police officer dies after being hit by suspected stolen car

A Queensland police officer who was struck on the Bruce Highway by a suspected stolen vehicle on Saturday morning has died.

Police said the senior constable was hit while responding to an incident at Burpengary, about 40 kilometres north of Brisbane, just after 3am.
