Six people are self-isolating in Queensland and one is in Victoria amid a COVID-19 cluster linked to a flight that landed in Brisbane.
The seven people all stayed on level eight of Brisbane’s Mercure Hotel between February 17 and 21, with two people in adjacent rooms testing positive for the virus.
An eighth person who stayed on the floor at that time is still in hotel quarantine.
The two hotel quests who have the virus were on a Qatar Airways flight that arrived in Brisbane on February 17.
