Qld COVID cases announced Queensland Premier’s press conference today*

A man believed to have the caught the highly contagious UK strain of COVID-19 could have been infectious for two days in the Brisbane community, authorities believe.
The man, who’s the partner of a Brisbane woman who contracted the strain while working in hotel quarantine, was one of three cases in Queensland overnight on Tuesday.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said the man became unwell on January 7 and tested negative the same day after going into quarantine.
