QLD BORDER RESTRICTIONS: Queensland hints at partial closure after Sydney’s COVID spike

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has hinted at another partial closure of the Queensland border amid the new and worsening COVID outbreak on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Palaszczuk announced from midday on Friday, anyone who has been in Sydney’s Northern Beaches since December 11 cannot enter Queensland’s aged care centres, hospitals or correctional facilities.
