Insurance giant QBE’s chairman Mike Wilkins is facing a barrage of questions from shareholders, who want to know why the board has shown CEO Pat Regan the door.
At this stage the company is saying almost nothing, other than that the complaint on which its board has acted involves Regans “workplace communication”, the fact that he exercised “poor judgement” and that his case was the subject of an external investigation.
