Qantas announced a 7-hour scenic ‘flight to nowhere’ over the Outback and Great Barrier Reef – and it sold out in 10 minutes – Business Insider Australia
You could probably argue there are better ways to spend your money, but the coronavirus pandemic has no doubt sent many people fairly loopy.

- A Qantas ‘scenic flight’ visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuta, the Whitsundays, Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Sydney Harbour sold out 10 minutes after it was announced.
- The ‘Great Southern Land’ flight, which will depart from Sydney on October 10, is the latest effort by the airline to provide a product while flights remain heavily restricted.
- It’s part of a wider scenic flight trend among airlines.
