Push to extradite person of interest in Toyah Cordingley’s murder nears fruition

Work on a bid to extradite a key person of interest in the murder of Cairns woman Toyah Cordingley is nearing completion, a local MP says.
Queensland police and the federal Attorney-General Christian Porter’s office have long been working in conjunction on the submission to Indian authorities.
“We are getting to the pointy end of it now,” Cairns-based federal MP Warren Entsch said on Monday.
“Hopefully, we will see something happen in the very near future.”
