A push for Kmart to ditch its boys and girls clothing sections is gaining traction online.
A petition has attracted hundreds of signatures.
“It gives a sense of inclusivity,” Associate Professor Lauren Rosewarne told Neil Mitchell.
She said there was often a “stigma” attached to boys wearing pink, or girls wearing blue.
