‘Pure case of self-defence’: Legend slams NRL over ‘very harsh’ Norman street fight ban – Fox Sports
Mark Geyer has blasted the NRL for their punishment of Corey Norman for defending his mate and former NRL star James Segeyaro in the infamous Cronulla street fight….
Norman was hit with a $20,000 fine and was suspended for two games, with one game suspended for 12 months by the NRL for his part in the fight, but revealed he will appeal the decision.
However Geyer believes Normans punishment sets a dangerous precedent for NRL players and their interactions with fans in public.
