Protesters were called to Washington by Donald Trump in an unprecedented moment in US history

It is hard to fully describe the tension and anger unfolding here in Washington DC.
Shortly after President Donald Trump ended his speech to the “Save America” rally, where he called for the crowd to march on Congress, riled up protesters stormed the Capitol Building.
A constitutional process, an electoral system, was completely derailed by a mass protest outside the US Capitol.
In doing so, protesters have brought upheaval to a process which is normally a drama-free event. This moment is unprecedented in US history.
