Protester pleads guilty for red-paint protest against Prime Minister
A handful of activists carrying banners splashed red paint over the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology Building at the university and circled the building, chanting “free the refugees” and “eight years too long”.
Hingst lathered the facility’s glass sliding doors with red paint she had taken out of a shopping bag, the court heard.

The Prime Minister’s security detail ushered Mr Morrison past the protesters to a waiting vehicle, at which point brussels sprouts were thrown in his direction.
