Australia’s medicines regulator is expected to investigate reports a 55-year-old NSW man died of blood clots after being given a COVID-19 vaccination.
Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt says Australians should have every confidence in the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The man died in Tamworth on April 21 after getting his first dose of the AstraZeneca jab on April 13, the Northern Daily Leader reported on Thursday, citing his family.
The man is believed to have died of blood clots on his lungs.
