Prized Melbourne recruit Ben Brown set for first game against former club North Melbourne – Wide World of Sports
‘It certainly wasn’t planned that way’

Gun Melbourne recruit Ben Brown is set to run out for his first game against former club North Melbourne at Hobart’s Blundstone Arena on Sunday.
Brown has recovered from February’s knee surgery and worked his way into form during three VFL games, setting himself up for his first Demons appearance.
Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin said the 287-goal spearhead would give the Demons an enormous boost, even amid the club’s best start to a season in 56 years.
