The Queen is said to be “delighted” by the safe arrival of her ninth great-grandchild.
The Queens granddaughter Princess Eugenie has given birth to a healthy baby boy, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The royal baby, who is Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbanks first child, was born on Tuesday morning UK time at the Portland Hospital in central London weighing 8lbs 1oz.
A statement from the palace said the Queen, Prince Philip and Eugenies parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were delighted by the very happy news.
