Prince William given new role ahead of event in May – 9Honey

Queen Elizabeth has given Prince William a new role ahead of an event in May. William, 38, has been appointed Lord High Commissioner to represent Her Majesty at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
The Duke of Cambridge was given the role in 2020 however the General Assembly was cancelled that year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year will be the first year Prince William carries out the role.
