The Duke of Sussex was alerted to his grandfather’s passing by an unexpected guest.
Prince Harry found out his grandfather Prince Philip had died after police knocked on his front door.
The Duke of Sussex received several phone calls from the US embassy about the death in the early hours of April 9, but the calls were never answered, according to TMZ.
Its unclear whether Harry and wife Meghan Markle didnt hear the phone ring or had it on silent.
After repeated attempts to reach Harry failed, the embassy then contacted the local police department for help, asking for an officer…
