Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce they are expecting their second child
Congratulations are in order for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—the Duke and Duchess of Sussex—who have announced they are expecting their second child.
The couple revealed the news early Monday morning, Australian time, by releasing a short-but-sweet statement. “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
At the same time, Harry and Meghan shared a photograph via their friend Misan Harriman, who reportedly shot it remotely via iPad. In the photo, they can be be seen lounging together—presumably in their backyard in California—while Meghan cradles her baby bump.
