Prince Charles has been excluded from the guest list of his goddaughter’s wedding upcoming wedding.
India Hicks, the granddaughter of Earl Mountbatten of Burma, will wed her partner of 25 years David Flint Wood in a scaled-back ceremony in February 2020, having announced her engagement earlier this year.
The reason for the slight seems to be due to restrictions, with Hicks telling Daily Mail ahead of the ceremony: “He’s my godfather. But we are just having the children’s godparents, and that’s it.”
