Prince Charles and Camilla have responded to an onslaught of abuse following the airing of Netflix’s season four of The Crown.
After being flooded with vitriol from viewers of the popular television drama, the couple, whose affair is explored in extensive detail in the series, have turned off comments on their official Twitter account.
Users can no longer post on the updates from the Clarence House Twitter account, which shares regular news and images about the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
