Former staff come to their defence
Staff have spoken in defence of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall following their unflattering portrayal in The Crown.
Season 4 focuses much on the breakdown of the marriage between Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales, with the finger firmly pointed at Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.
In some scenes Prince Charles is portrayed as a raving, jealous husband, furious at his wife for receiving more attention by the media and public.
