Prime suspect in Sharron Phillips case allegedly raped sister-in-law
Ms Clancy also said Mr Mulvihill confessed to her that he was involved in Ms Phillips’ disappearance, but she had not heard of the Phillips case at the time and did not realise what he was saying.
According to Ms Clancy, Mr Mulvihill told her Ms Phillips “came out of the phone box” and that she told him she had run out of petrol, but her friend was coming to collect her.
“He said he decided to lure her back to the taxi by saying he would get someone to bring some petrol to the car. Next minute he was on top of her in the back seat.
“He said [Ms Phillips] got up fist-fighting, then he said he knocked her out.”
Ms Clancy claimed Mr Mulvihill said his son, Mr Seeley, arrived and they moved the unconscious Ms Phillips from the taxi…
