Preuss and Gawn not gone for Bulldogs clash – The Age
Braydon Preuss hurt his hip at training but is still expected to be fit for Melbourne to take on the Western Bulldogs, while Max Gawn is also a chance to play.
The Demons still have ruck coverage in The event both Gawn and Preuss are injured, with everywhere man Tom McDonald able to deputise in the position.
Star young ruck and forward Luke Jackson remains out with a hamstring.
Both teams have question marks on their rucks, with talented, fast-developing Bulldogs big man Tim English still only a 50/50 chance to play. He too will be monitored for his ankle injury and a decision on his fitness will be made closer to the game.
