Richmond star Tom Lynch could be facing a suspension from the Match Review Officer after a concerning moment involving Brisbane’s Alex Witherden.
Lynch had a big first half, assisting on the Tigers first goal of the game through Jack Higgins and kicking three majors of his own, but it was what he did after a first-quarter tackle that drew attention.
The tall forward ran down Lions defender Witherden but then aggressively and unnecessarily drove his opponents head towards the ground.
