A Tasmanian jeweller who bought a burger in 2015 and transformed it into a brooch when it failed to decompose says it looks “pretty much” the same.

A Tasmanian jeweller made a brooch from a real hamburger four years ago and it still looks the same as when she made it.
Emma Bugg normally works with concrete and silver but was inspired to work with fast food after attending a health retreat in 2015.
While at the retreat she learnt that some burgers from fast food chains, if left uneaten, would not decompose for years.
