Lottery officials have revealed where the winning ticket was purchased in a bid to find its rightful owner.
One lucky Australian has unknowingly won the entire $50 million Powerball jackpot.
Lottery officials confirmed the single division one prize winner purchased their entry for Thursday nights draw in New South Wales from a NSW Lotteries outlet in the city.
However, as the entry was not registered, the identity of the ticketholder remains a mystery.
Any Sydney resident or visitor who purchased an entry in the draw is encouraged to check their ticket and make contact to claim their prize.
