The experimental coronavirus drug being given to Donald Trump is “very promising” and “very potent”, according to an Oxford University professor involved in UK trials of the treatment.The US president was given the artificial antibody treatment at the White House on Friday after being diagnosed with Covid-19.Professor Peter Horby said UK patients began receiving REGN-COV2, made by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, last weekend as part of Oxford University’s national Recovery trial.
