Health authorities have pleaded with Queenslanders to monitor for coronavirus symptoms after the latest wastewater results revealed coronavirus fragments were found in multiple catchments.
Traces of the deadly disease was discovered at three wastewater plants that service central Brisbane, the city’s inner-south, Cairns and the Sunshine Coast.
Chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young urged anyone with symptoms to come forward for testing across 130 suburbs.
