Porte finishes with the best on first summit finish – SBS
Australian Tour de France general classification hope, Richie Porte, stuck with the top-tier climbers on the first summit finish of the race, the climb to Orcières-Merlette for Stage 4.

The stage was a relatively straightforward one from Porte’s team’s perspective, with Trek-Segafredo called upon to do little throughout the stage, and the action limited to the final climb of the day.
