Popov wins the women’s British Open ahead of Suwannapura and Lee – Sydney Morning Herald
German Sophia Popov has won the women’s British Open, finishing ahead of Thailand’s Jasmine Suwannapura and Australia’s Minjee Lee.

Unheralded German Sophia Popov struck a three-under-par final round of 68 to claim her maiden major title at the women’s British Open on Sunday, finishing two strokes clear of Thailand’s Jasmine Suwannapura at Royal Troon.
Australia’s Minjee Lee finished third a further two strokes off the pace.
