Pool health warning issued after Ross River virus alert – Bay 93.9

Swimming pool experts say owners need to limit the amount of time they spend by the pool after Ross River virus was found in local mosquitoes.
It follows a warning from the Victorian government that mozzies in Anglesea and Mildura are now carrying the virus, which can cause symptoms including joint pain and stiffness, headache, fever, rash and fatigue which can persist for months.
