Sunshine Coast police will be out in force over the next week ensuring school leavers planning to holiday in the region can enjoy their visit and celebrate safely.
The Sunshine Coast is tipped to be a popular area with school leavers in 2020, with large numbers expected to travel to the Noosa area in particular.
There will be an increased police presence throughout the District over the next week, commencing Friday November 20.
Acting District Superintendent Jason Overland said the main priority for police was keeping young people and the local community safe.
