Police stations on alert as Gold Coast fugitive gunman threatens ‘shootout’

Northern Gold Coast police stations have reportedly been locked down after a man on the run threatened a “shootout” with officers on social media.
Mark Lutgenau has been on the run for more than 24 hours after an alleged domestic violence incident at Upper Coomera on Monday night.
Police seeking the 37-year-old shut down parts of Ormeau, including a local primary school, on Tuesday amid fears he was armed with gun.
