Police release new footage in ‘linked’ armed robberies
Its alleged the two hotel robberies, occurring at Sunnybank Hills on November 6th and at Mitchelton on December 10th were carried out by the same man.Around 5am on November 6, 2020, a male employee from a tavern on Hellawell Rd, Sunnybank Hills was forced from his vehicle in the car park by a man armed with a handgun, demanding him to reopen the tavern.
Once reopened, the man forced the employee to open a bank safe, then fled on foot down Beenleigh Road with a sum of cash….
