Police probe suspicious death after tourists find body in SEQ bushland

Two tourists have stumbled upon the body of a man in bushland near Toowoomba, who police believe may have died under suspicious circumstances.
The pair discovered the man near Preston-Boundary Road in Preston, about 10 kilometres south-west of the regional centre, just before 9am on Thursday, police said in a statement.
A crime scene has since been declared, with an investigation centre established at the Gatton Police Station. Investigators and scientific officers remain on the scene.
The man has been identified as a 28-year-old Toowoomba man, police said.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area has been urged to come forward.
