Police involved shooting, Durack – Queensland Police News
A man has been hospitalised with a non-life-threatening injury after being shot by police at Durack this afternoon (December 11)
Police were responding to a number of reported sightings of a stolen red hatchback, allegedly involved in a series of incidents this morning in Goodna and the western suburbs.
Police located the vehicle stopped at the intersection of Inala Road and Blunder Road, Durack at around 12.20pm.
It will be alleged the male passenger, armed with a knife, exited the car and entered a blue sedan, also stationary at the intersection, threatening the 56-year-old driver.
It will be further alleged that a taser and firearm were deployed by police resulting in a 28-year-old man receiving a non-life-threatening injury.
