Police investigating how car passenger came to be shot in the back

A woman is fighting for her life after she was shot through the passenger seat of a car.

The 33-year-old went to a Trees Road home in Tallebudgera, on the southern end of the Gold Coast, about midday on Wednesday when she was shot in the back.
