Police investigate suspicious death near Deloraine, three in custody

A man has been found dead in a house near Deloraine in Tasmania’s north.
Police are treating the death as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Larcombes Road in Reedy Marsh about 6:00pm on Tuesday.
Two men and a woman are in custody and are assisting police with their inquiries.
Authorities are also searching the area for another man they wish to speak to in relation to the death.
Police believe the people were known to each other.
They said an offender may have been armed with a “bat type weapon”.
CIB and forensics officers are at the scene and police said the examination was expected to take some time.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact Launceston Police or Crime Stoppers.
