Police investigate ‘suspicious’ death after tourists discover body of Toowoomba man in bushland

The body of a 28-year-old Toowoomba man has been discovered in bushland at Preston, west of Brisbane on the Darling Downs.
The alarm was raised after two tourists found the body near Preston-Boundary Road just before 9:00am on Thursday.
Police were called and a crime scene was declared.
Scientific officers have attended the scene and an investigation centre has been established at the Gatton Police Station.
Detectives investigating the man’s death have deemed it to be “suspicious”.
Police have urged anyone with any information, or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, to call Policelink on 131 444.
