Police investigate link between man shot on Logan Motorway and double homicide

Police are investigating a possible link between the man shot dead on the Logan Motorway and the slaying of a couple in their home on Brisbane’s southern outskirts.

The 22-year-old man shot dead by police on the roadway was Calamvale resident Raghe Abdi, known to counter-terrorism police, and had been under strict bail conditions.

The couple slain in their Parkinson home have been identified as Maurice, 87, and Zoe, 86, Antill.
