Police investigate fatal hit and run in Melbourne’s north-east

Police are trying to find the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed a man in the early hours of this morning in Melbourne’s north-east.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit said the man was crossing a road in St Helena when he was struck by a vehicle around 2:51am.
