Police car rammed, South Toowoomba

Darling Downs detectives have charged a man after a police car was rammed in South Toowoomba this morning.
Police were called to a motel on Ruthven Street just after 6am in response to a disturbance.
Officers arrived to find a stolen grey Mercedes-Benz GLA250 in the driveway.
Attending police attempted to intercept the vehicle on foot, before it rammed their marked police car, causing panel damage to both vehicles.
A male police officer was struck by the vehicle as the driver attempted to leave the area.
He attended Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of leg injuries.
A 19-year-old Goodna man was arrested on Dora Street.
