Police believe Ballarat woman Kobie Parfitt was murdered in April
Police say they believe Ballarat woman Kobie Parfitt was murdered on or around April 28, when she was last seen alive.
A public appeal for information about the 43-year-old mother of four was launched last Sunday, which has led to police publicly stating they believe Ms Parfitt was murdered.
Missing Persons Unit Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said a lot of resources dedicated to the case had been committed in Ballarat over the past week.
“As a result of that, the information that we’re getting back has caused us to be fairly strong in our language that we are firmly of the belief that Kobie was murdered,” he said.
