Pokemon Go Dev Will Fix Mega Evolutions – GameSpot
Niantic is working on ways to address players’ frustrations with Mega Evolutions, although the studio says “it might be some time” before some changes are implemented.

Mega Evolutions recently arrived in Pokemon Go, but many players have not been entirely happy with their implementation thus far. In order to Mega Evolve a Pokemon, users must first collect that monster’s Mega Energy. This, however, is typically locked behind Mega Raid Battles, making it difficult for many players to collect the required amount. Developer Niantic has acknowledged these concerns and promises to address them.
