PM shows a Trumpian disregard for transparency – The Australian Financial Review
The Morrison government’s outrage at the behaviour of big institutions seems to be driven by whose side they are perceived to be on, writes Laura Tingle.
Keep in mind that international banking regulators have for some time been warning banks to consider these issues and to be transparent about their exposures to possible stranded assets, and that the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority has told the banks they must report their exposures.
