Plea to make parks ‘safe again’ in Sunshine Coast town grappling with homelessness

Rebecca Saly has been sleeping rough in Nambour, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, for a month and she has already had $500 worth of camping gear stolen and her car trashed.
“That was devastating … I’ve just found out from the mechanic it’s [the car] written off,” Ms Saly said.
“That was my home.”
