CAs chief medical officer John Orchard has written to the nations chief medical officer, Paul Kelly, to investigate whether there is any possibility of obtaining a dose of any of these vaccines in Australia or elsewhere prior to Feb 24 when the team is due to depart, according to a News Corp report on the weekend.
Though Dyer appreciates why CA have inquired on grounds of player safety, he said biosecurity protocols should be rigorous enough to ensure players would not need a COVID-19 jab.
