Three-time Melbourne Cup placegetter likely to race at home before another overseas campaign

Three-time Melbourne Cup placegetter Prince of Arran is likely to have his first race for 2021 in Britain before another overseas campaign.
Fellowes told the UK Press Association this week that Prince of Arran had put on plenty of weight after his luckless third-placed finish in the $8m G1 Lexus Melbourne Cup (3200m) on November 3.
“He’s come back in looking too well, but he didn’t go out until late,” Fellowes said.
“He’s come back with a proper belly on him, so I’ll have to get some proper work…
