Pilots forced to eject as Super Hornet jet emergency unfolds at RAAF base Amberley

Two pilots have been forced to eject after a major incident at a RAAF base in Queensland.
The emergency involved a military jet that ran off the runway at the base in Amberley, as seen in the exclusive footage above.
A witness filmed a pilot and co-pilot parachuting back to the ground after the accident in their FA-18 Super Hornet fighter.
The jet was on the runway preparing to take off when the crew ejected.
