Improving their win-loss record to 6-3, Sydney now have the opportunity to cement themselves in the top eight, with their next four matches before the bye all coming against lower-ranked teams.
Tom Hickey was brilliant once again for the Swans, edging Collingwoods Brodie Grundy in their ruck battle to finish with 19 hitouts and eight clearances, while Isaac Heeney who was rested last week in a bid to heal his troublesome ankle kicked three goals.
