Pet poodle dog missing in Queensland for three years found 800km away

Three years and 800 kilometres.
That’s what it took for pet poodle Milo to find his way back into his owner’s arms.
In 2017, Milo’s human Lauren Preece sent him from Cairns to her parents’ place in Weipa while she went overseas to work.
A month into her trip, she was told he’d gone missing.
Despite her repeated attempts to find him, there was no sign of Milo.
A distraught Lauren feared the worst.
